Remembrance-To My Husband
I remember your hands, my darling,
And the love that came with their touch,
I remember your deep, brown eyes, my dearest,
And the intensity of their love.
I remember your husky voice, my dear,
And the sweet nothings you whispered to me,
I loved you! I love you! I love you,
Your wife is all I'll ever be.
I miss you so much, my dearest,
Sometimes the tears flow as I go to rest,
Before your death, we were so Blessed,
Why were you taken-What did I do?
I have survived for eight long years,
How much longer can I go on?
Without you, I feel like nothing,
You were my angel, my love and my soul.
