Remembering Carolyn
Carolyn wrote these words in her Father's Day poem
for my contest in 2021, in which her poem was selected
one of the top ten submitted:
"Dad, this Father’s Day I stare at your portrait
And a few teardrops fall again
Your absence is never missed more than on Fathers Day."
Carolyn, you are with your father now, so you won't
be missing him on this coming Father's Day.
On Father's Day, I will remember your words and be
thinking about your reunion with your father.

[Carolyn, you were someone special to me
You seemed to like my poetry
You often commented from your heart
I shall miss your thoughts, Sweetheart.]
