Remember To Pray

when we look at ourselves as extraordinary Black people of color we can surmise that we've endured more than any others separate but equal, Jim Crow and slavery Black folks have taken a licking for over two centuries yet we also know how to celebrate and revel as well we've learned to enjoy life in spite of all the hatred and the hell we can have a good time even when our team is losing the game we are a joyful people and we rejoice without any shame we are vocal, we are verbal and we sometimes talk loud we are children of the most high and we are Black and we are proud but most importantly we are true disciples of Christ we are praying warriors in the midst of our strife P.U.S.H. we say which means pray until something happens eventually because we know prayer has the power to change things exponentially snatched from the Motherland and on those ships my people prayed that God would deliver them from this terrorism one day and on the plantations they prayed most every day and night for the Lord to convey them from out of this dark and into His light thru the massacres, the lynchings and all of the hostility Black folks continuously prayed until they got liberty civil rights, affirmative action and equal opportunity were a few answered prays of the Black community so remember to pray and hold on to God's unchanging hand let the words out of your mouths lift you up from sinking sand remember to pray allow God to bring it to you pray that God eventually brings it thru you pray so that the devil will come to realize that is has no authority in the Lord God's eyes remember to pray simply have that conversation with God pray until He grants you the desires of your heart
