Relationship

Stretch too long, it’ll snap,
Keep loose and will slip away,
How to-- there’s no app.
I know not how till this day--
Now eight decades and more gray!
A ship on high seas
Ready any time to sway,
To storm when turns breeze.

Tanka-Senryu |16.10.2025 | breeze, life, relationship, sea, storm

Note: Tanka is a haiku plus a couplet added in response to it. What when the three-liner is a Senryu? It is still Tanka, but if one must differentiate, one can call the former Hanka, and the latter, Sanka. I am sure some may have a much better suggestion.
