Rejuvenating Rains

Feeling lost...
I close my eyes
And inhale
The rising storm

Gentle rhythm
Into drops
Freefalls upon acceptance
From quickened sky

Liquid softs
Liquid grace
Crying tears
Caressing face

The thunder claps
Echoes an epiphany
As essence liberates

Alas
Spirit free
To fly at last

Rushing ways
Are souls being cleansed
Soaking up the cool...
Rejuvenating rains

I can certainly relate to your poem Michael. I have a love of rain and am always thrilled when it begins raining. Here in the islands of course the rain is warm and refreshing. You have written a really wonderful poem that touches the soul. I have another called Crystal Rain, I posted some time ago. Thank you also for your nice comments and very nice to meet you. I will check out more of your poetry.
