Rein Drops

Rein Drops

The reindeer were pulling for Santa
They struggled to get past a canter
He said they were flying
Like ducks that were dying
But that was just lighthearted banter

But what Santa wasn’t to know
Was Rudolph was gasping to go
His guts started grumbling
Then, excrement tumbling
He pebble-dashed Ontario

Thanks Jan. Well chuffed with a second with my second choice of entry. My first choice had three verses so would have disqualified itself.

Terry, I was rolling with laughter when I read this! Congrats on a second-place win! While reading this, I had visions of the mess Rudolph left over Ontario. Competition for this contest was amazing and yours was among the poems that stood out as outrageously humorous. Thanks for the laughs - Carolyn

You know the expression, ‘Don’t look down’... in Ontario, they now say ‘Don’t look UP!’ Thanks for responding Andrew

G'day Terry … at least Ontario gardens are fertilized. Poor old Santa is copping plenty this year. He could end up with versico (sic!) - thanks Terry - Lindsay

I think Santa’s gonna need a hard hat if he’s to survive Christmas on Soup

Thanks Susan. Not too distasteful, I hope.
