Regrets Unsaid

I wanted to say ... but I didn’t Regrets unsaid has my bowed head leaving upon my barren ground a trail of tears I wanted to tell you ... but I foolishly didn’t Contrition unsaid is an albatross millstone wrapped around my feeble legs Pulling me to the depths of a watery, unforgiven grave I wanted to say ... but I didn’t Regrets unsaid are the mourning dove tears of the living dead

Yeah some can relate to this Freddie. It's in our hearts we know but stubborn as a mule. Then when it's too late, we beat ourselves up. Awesome write dear! Hugs and smiles and loves :)

Such beautifully sad, poetic melancholy Freddie. A stunning write throughout but your last two lines shine superbly. Thoughtful, heartfelt and compelling poetry with emotional and intriguing imagery that allowed me to feel your 'regrets'. A glowing write my friend. Hugs and smiles. ~Susan
