Reflect
On the bench, when they spoke, she knew his lyrics were a joke. When he talked like an adult, his lyrics were bespoke!
She was finding herself, she sensed that he knew. They connected on a level and helped each other to grow.
It got a bit messy, for a while, feelings had arrived. She wanted only what her Adonis could provide.
He pulled away from her, saying he needs time. Left her wondering what lesson it is she needs to learn from his rhyme.
She tried to be herself, to not let him play on her mind. But nothing made her happy like she was with him, blind?
He had made her feel safe, allowed to gently unwind. His actions spoke of wonders of a special kind.
What started as exploration and fun had to be secret see.
It added to the excitement, no need for others to agree.
Tried lesson previously endured, repeat of history?
Wanting to discover more, heart pounding in memory.
