Reflections

In winter’s hush, the flue breathes slow,
The chimney’s silhouette in fading glow.
Soft warmth lingers by the old hearth’s sigh,
Memories resting on the Mantel high.
A quiet comfort, tender and mild,
Echoes of home through time’s child.
