Reflections

Reflections

My words are a collection
tiny fragments of my life
grouped together
a reflection of my soul.

Like a child's gathered treasures
my reflections I hold dearly.
My impressions
the expressions of my heart.

Through the pen my words unspoken
striving for their liberation
can escape
the boundaries of my mind.

Then in joyous celebration
words released upon the paper
blossom into
the reflections of my life.

Oops! I almost forgot to congratulate you, Robin, on having your poem featured this week. (I must have been distracted by the first ever End Line Word member contest (my first sponsored contest…See my blogs for information.) Reflecting upon one's life experiences is such a growing experience. Anyway, I wanted to congratulate you before this week features are posted, today. So, Congratulations!!! Smiles, Dane Ann
