Reflections

I reflect.. I walk through the fields .. I ponder for a moment.. Where does my own reflection lie.. Walking through the fields I had seen murky waters.. I had felt sorrow.. I had touched the open wounds of pain.. Reflections of sadness.. Various flowers surround the fields.. Vibrant colors explode in magnificent array of beauty.. Feast one's eyes .. As the eyes indulge.. Where does my reflection lie.. The surface of murky waters fade away in an instant.. Replaced by crystal clear waters.. I ponder for a moment.. I see a reflection of myself.. Suddenly my reflection fades away.. As I see my ego fade away .. Ego turns into dust.. Evaporates into thin air.. Where does my reflection lie.. In.. The heart and soul.. As it expands across the fields..

Dear Robertina, your inspiring pen takes my breath away with the introspective and spiritual beauty of this poem. A tender journey of self-reflection is realized in this expressive piece and I especially adore your last stanza for a brilliant finale. Such deep and elegant poetry, dear poetess.
