upon first
seeing the towering redwoods
so awed I whispered
cathedral,
a living cathedral

I was born and raised in the redwoods..I love your poem and yes, it is a cathedral..we used to hold worship services on Easter under the trees, at sunrise.. Magnificent memories. BG
