Redemption (Cont.)
I’ve been good, I’ve been bad
Both Holy and Evil
-- I am man –
An angel in denial
My life I have defiled
The road to redemption
I will end, still on trial
Not for my sins
But for those who still sin
For those who still hold an opinion
Where mine could have made theirs different
I must speak to those who seek
“The meaning of life is to give life meaning”
Careful of your choices, life can be deceiving
Do not stray left, do not stray right
Go straight ahead and you will find
Everlasting life --- if you choose to subdue
To a miraculous find, the spirit within you
Waiting for the moment
To come out to the open
Knowledge can be ignorance
If you don’t know these words being spoken
Now….have you chosen
The order of sequence
On the knowledge you now take in?
Or are you still confused
Living for tomorrow on yesterdays news
Are you like the rest of the fools?
Or are you better. Better than no other
Suffocate you with the truth
I leave you smothered.
Make peace with yourself
Your mother, father, sister and brother
Can you conceive the “things of” that I speak?
Or are they just a memory in a dream
And you wake up not remembering
-- Feel the sting? –
The sting of knowing your soul could be burning
-- Ready to sing? –
Rejoice in the choice that your life is still promising
“To be or not to be…”
Truly is the key
Continue on with your life and we shall see ---
