Red Rum Murder
RED RUM MURDER
Red rum murder in the mirrored bar —
the slaying of a madam, named Ava.
Lil Pip gawks from his car.
His daily good deed — save a
fly — but deified hero, he’s not.
He waves goodbye, in a Toyota
to this bombshell wow. To blot
out her nemesis, the evil Olive, he gave a
horse some cash, on the level,
and determines to spy redder hair
— eye color of cerulean blue, to revel
in opposite sexes, sans arsenic to share.
