The sight of trees devoid of leaves is a dull sight. But if they are animated by red birds, the same sight becomes lovely ! Happy New Year dear P.S

I like this poem. It reminds me of my late husband whose favorite bird was the Red Cardinal. He was from North Carolina, and it was always sad for him that we don't have Red Cs here in southwest Washington. Our here his favorite became the Stellar Jay's. Good write!
