Reconsidering Laughter Contest
When I was young I laughed at everyone
made fun of others that I should not have done
I had no regrets never looked back, til now
when I see Desiree's contest and it shakes me somehow
It says to reconsider laughter and I feel chills in my bone
like the time I skipped school then lied once at home
Or the night I was drunk and let my mom down
Her mom had died and I was no where to be found
All of a sudden the laughs seem to haunt
To awaken my soul and make me just want
To reconsider the fool that I have been
Pray Lord forgive me for laughing in sin.
