Recognition

looking back at our life led so far engaged in needless strife and spar we regret now the blood we spilt wish to atone, heart laden with guilt churches, temples, mosques hollow for awakened not was soul’s glow we thus discarded conditioned belief shifting into silence to obtain relief distanced from outer world humdrum we heard with God’s cosmic drum we saw the leaf of identity drop away revealing soul’s light clear as day sans identity, resting in our luminosity ineffable peace heart’s porosity renewing itself within itself, joy replete God’s living light, feeling complete 10-May-2023

.....each of the four eyes is imaged as a natural necessity that the/a 'being of being' can/should/might/will 'be'.....so, the eyes then are conscious; and, hence the stories for teaching were imaged with four gods (nature's conscious elementals)... ...such that, human life is seen as one of nature's root-systems....stan

...thank you : ) ....we share many buddhist philosophical ideas/concepts of what 'being' be.....buddhist originators used stories (to teach) about how 'nature takes care of herself' by way of her four directional internal eyes...for a left-right-front-back and a north-south-east-west....

short answer: if we are not who we think we are, sans ego identity, who are we, in as that that reincarnates again and again? living light, self-existent, indivisible from the all-that-is (God). we cannot know it but can become it, for we are it. ignorance is but the veil of thought. awareness without thought sets us free.

Surely one of the foibles of 'organized religion' from its inception has been to take the focus off of God, and onto a false sense of 'community' --- which really is 'code' for making business the enterprise of the Church. Religion or scripture addresses mind. However, we cannot use mind to transcend it ~ so we drop thought. Sans thought there is no ego identity. Then, that void centric awareness that remains, in time, may reveal our true Self, what we actually are ~ living light.
