Recipe For Love

I don’t think there is a definitive recipe for love-- I mean, I’ve fried broiled baked and no two ever come out exactly the same-- and, maybe, that is the compelling mystery: if it could be duplicated precisely somehow love would not remain love, would it?

Ain't that the truth! We love the best and the worst sometimes--ouch! I guess, love and fool all of us.

Indeed, I love the profound question posed as you end your beautiful and meaningful poem, Joe. That special chemistry that two unique individuals share together, in love..that magic blend of beings, can never be duplicated no matter how you cook it, dice it or slice it with another. A thought provoking and intriguing write. Warmest wishes my friend.. ~Susan
