Reality
Reality is a monster
A scary, fearful beast
A disagreeable villain
A brute, to say the least
The rudeness, the audacity
The arrogance, the gall
To ruin dreams and wishes too
The meanness of it all
Why not allow a desperate soul
To wallow in pretense?
To see through glasses that are pink
Why would you take offense?
Reality, you are dismissed
Be on your way now. Go!
So we can all be entertained
By this fallacious show.
