Real Love
You know the look that a new mother gives a child?
The one that makes the baby feel and smile. Or the
look that a new father gives a daughter or son? Well,
that's the look I hope for everyone.
That's the way love and feels; that's when
it's all right, ready and real. There's no such thing
as rejection;(no ;) in the presence of love and affection.
Love is completed, by sight and sound, instantly
given, instantly found.
I'm not talking about the love that is given to family
or friend. I'm talking about a love given forever,
without end. I'm talking about the love that has no
yesterdays and only tomorrows; I'm talking a love
the doesn't understand the words pain or sorrow.
A love that is born from a woman's womb, a love
that is reborn every afternoon. That is the place where
the human race should be; )his is the love we should
all feel and see. When I look at you(,) and you look at me,
we become one, instantly. It sounds kind of funny to
say that, because that's not where today's world is at.
That kind of love seems like an impossibility, and yet
it is the world's goal: profound reality. It's the very goal
for the human race; it's to see love in each other's face,
to do what love requires to be done, to be as consistent
as the new morning sun.
So why can't it be captured and expand this mood?
Why can't we eat it for life as if it were food? Why can't
we spread this feeling throughout the world, to the
smallest baby and every boy or girl?
I don't know, but that's the kind of love I feel;
sometimes it gets painful, in a world that loves
to kill. The love I see for us all may never be, but that's
okay, because that love is waiting and living in me.
Someday, this love will grow to its maturity and
will be enjoyed by all, if not the majority. But, for now, it
seems far away. May God bless you and the world
to feel it like this one day.
