Reading Clouds

Written by Lee Ramage

clouds,
fluffy,
fill the sky,
images shape,
imagination grows the poetry,
life experiences helps mould the shape.
reader absorbs,
draws picture,
feelings
born.

oh, here is one I had missed. Yes, first we imagine something and then use our experiences to mold it! I love how you titled it Reading Clouds!

I think we all see pictures in the clouds if we take the time to look. I remember as a child, looking into the early evening sky and seeing dragons, crocodiles and all manner of things. Interesting write. Regards, Robert.

Lee, the poem I mentioned to your earlier during our telephone conversations is: Windowpanes by: Jim Fish. a Masterpiece indeed. It is posted here on the soup - just type Windowpanes in the search bar at the top of the home page. Elaine

An excellent imagination absorbs its environment to create and paint unique and original pictures. A passing cloud an excellent source or metaphor for the imagination. A wonderful poem you have written here, and thank you for your kind comments on my poetry.

Lee, I have been inspired by the pictures clouds create as well. Wrote a poem on it long ago. This is very creative and also very true! Best wishes in Michael's contest. Love, Carolyn
