Ray of Sunshine
When we were young and went out into the world ,we chose to give in
When we could no longer hold our own
Though we knew better than to listen to
The voice in the song
Our hearts are broken and
in our eyes, the sky is golden
I am forever changed
Time has come around
And yanked the blinds from inside the house
Life is a ray of sunshine upon a cloud
The rain is coming down
Heavy upon the crowd
The sun shines bright
It is a good thing that I have had a few fish
to fry
Life brings tears to the eyes
And circulates blood to the heart
The only thing that is constant is change
The only thing that is gloomy is the rain
Farewell to the sun in our home
The only thing that kept us warm in the storm
The only thing that is to be adorned with bouquets and butterflies
You’re our morning’s star
Lanterns and butterflies for our mom
