Ray of Bliss
Let mi drift off
To a place oblivious
Away from the mundane
Separate from the obvious
To a refuge on the upper rocks
Like an eagle let me soar up above
Where no winds rush no murmurs about
With no feelings tripping over each other
Let me drift to her hands let me behold her
A future to my taste buds lets memories evoke
Of a life lived in hope of a promise unforgotten
Of an age in reason before corruption in seasons
Uprooted the best of us from our little ray of paradise
