Rainbow Walk
Standing in the warm rays
Of the early morning Sun
I see prisms in the dewdrops
Their many colors bursting forth
Drawn by something
I do not know what
I step off of my porch
I walk barefoot across the rainbow
That was once my backyard
Under my feet the moist colors Mix together
Forming green footprints that mark my way
Cool to the touch peaceful and calming
Uplifting my heart
I am carried far away
By my morning rainbow walk
