Rain Haiku

red rose blooms anew
    raindrops pond on the petals-
        hummingbird drinks up

A little spectacle I enjoy watching from my back porch after a rain shower.

Delightful image, Joe. Quite creative to have the rain feed the rose and the rose petals provide nourishment for the hummingbird. Best wishes for the contest. Love, Carolyn
