Rain Finally Came
As the sky opened up
to let the rain fall,
nature shouted for joy
as the earth was so
happy it cried out
to the clouds
and thanked them
for the cool drops
that fell from the sky,
for today was a time
to be joyful,
for it may be
a while before the
rain falls again.
