Rain Drenched Hair
I stroll along the promenade as the sun up high shines bright in the sky
The sea is sparkling with precious diamonds adorning an azure blue gown
A gentle breeze begins to flow like your fingertips gently caressing my curls
I close my eyes as I visualise a time your sweet fingers ran through my hair
Teardrops cascading from above drench my hair with your feelings of despair
There is no rain a tumbling down and the sun still shines bright in the sky, but
I feel your hopelessness and despair on that fateful night when I was not there
Now full of guilt I absorb your despair forever I live with rain drenched hair
