Oh well I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Poor souls living near trains it depends on how near. WE were just far enough to mae it vey nostalgic. I love trains at a distance, Well written it contains just that hint of sarcasm.

Hi Paul: Thank you for you for sharing. I enjoyed your kids sense of hearing. Even sight. My 4 year old grandson is always reminding me to turn off the bathroom light!

I can relate to this one, Ralph. Once I was in England and I stayed in a house right next to the railway lines; the place trembled most of the time and I wondered how long it would take before it came falling down. Enjoyable write:) // paul
