Jan, this is very good work. With Charles and Camilla firmly in the spotlight, we can only hope that Harry and Meghan can have a fulfilling life and not feel envious in any way. If they do, it will make it hard for them to smile inside. We each have life and that's really it. Many people don't get it....I sometimes don't get it myself (LOL)!! But then, I say to myself....let it go!!! Smiles!!!

Dear Jan, you really leaned into the humor on this one, and it works. The rhyme snaps right into place, and that cheeky twist at the end had me grinning. Fun little write, my friend. Blessings, Daniel

I enjoyed reading your write. Great Picture... It was a pretty wedding, then it all ended. I think many are tired of them. "Good Luck"  I did, "Alexander Graham Bell." Have a fun day/weekend writing away.............

Dear Jan, I love how you rhymed Markle/debacle.. your pointed rapier wit already in full thrust! Your last two lines capture the truth of it with a sharp clever quip. Great clerihew-ing! Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

Thanks Susan. I have no time for Meghan and Harry and its a blessing that the Queen is no longer to see the pantomime we get from the attention seeking pair - I dont like the fact they call Meghan a royal because she isn't since they left the royal family to live in the US! hugs jan xx
