Quietus

Somethings can’t be taught,
My fathomless understanding of grief
Has altered my thoughts to a brick wall
Physically running into it-
I can’t get through.
The quietus of my imagination
Deteriorates
While I sit and write my rhapsody-
My whole eternity halted
A passion steaming past my shoulders—
So closely in reach and so far.
My story begins to end
And I terrorize my mind-
Instead of gently pushing- I run into the wall
My reality becomes distorted
Pixels cloud my mind
When all I’m trying to see
Is the inside of my mind
