Questions of Existence

What is truth?
Truth for the one?
Should it not first start with me?
Rather than with that someone?

What is peace?
Peace for the soul, for the nation at war?
When will it come to me?
When will I settle my own score?

Who are you?
Who do I want you and I to be?
Why do I fail to see
The importance of you that lives within me?

How can I forgive?
Did they not do me wrong?
Where shall I begin?
Within my heart, there, do I sing my own song?

Who am I?
What do I fail to see?
How can I understand
That by giving to you, I recognize me?
