Quench Me
like dew on a rose
drenching me in affection-
fervor through my veins
intensity knows thy warmth
craving infatuation
like sand in a tide
creating ripples that tread-
longing for thy touch
my reverie shan’t run dry
quench me with shores of thy thirst
