Quadro -The Open Window

the open window bids the outside to come inside, but only the sun enters freely; sunset aglow. By Dane Ann Smith-Johnsen 1/12/2017 Written for Nette Onclaud’s newly invented form: Quadro

Dane Ann, you saw a sunset too. Fitting for the tone of this poem and reminds me of the times in life when you really see the truth, whatever aspect of our lives it may be.

Yes, I did, Rob. Thank you for reading even though I did not place. My quadro was a little weak, but I like the form. I also liked the picture. So I wrote another NOT a quadro poem...somewhat sad...with a similar theme. I called it An Open Window if you care to take a look. I don't think it will embarrass me as much as this one did ... AFTER I read all of the great MANY quadro winners. I appreciate you comment immensely. :) Dane Ann
