Their powerful pens lay strong foundations, as paper highlights their raw reflections. Poetry helps to release frustrations, as imprisoned thoughts sing with inflections. Composing legacies, where words bring peace. Penning sonnets, haikus, free verse and prose. Purveyors of words, where silence must cease, so their tongues are free to bloom like a rose. When hands tire with time and ink yearns to rest, poets are content, they've fulfilled their quest.

This is an amazing poem, Silent One. I usually find one or two lines that really stand out to me. I can't with this one because the whole thing fits perfectly :)

"Their powerful pens lay strong foundations, as paper highlights their raw reflections." quite poignant there, Silent! When the writing "bug" catches, scribbling words from sunrise to sunset, really isn't that much of an exaggeration. I hope too find inspiration anew, in spite (or because?) of these trying times. Very accurate sonnet concerning why we write.
