From the morning’s first sunrise
He stirs his coffee, gently
Yet convincing the listener of the strength
In his heart, the hope in his strong…

From the break of dawn,
	When light eases home,
There comes an overflowing hope
Erasing all the corrupt,
	Singing grace and love,
		Stirring the spirit’s light,
			With music, ever rising…

From the stillness of the night,
Softly clinging to the twilight’s embrace,
Praising, praying, amazing – the way
Singing love through the heart who sustains,
All the music from a soul who abides
In the hesitant joys, the glitter of light
Softly shining, restoring, inviting…

From the distant peaks, the soft sands,
Where mysteries make him a better man,
Haunting the weak with the rising tides,
Seeking to whisper – through the stars
In distant thunder, raining sounds of wonder….

There comes someone, a man – who won’t slumber,
A man who comes to rest the weight of tears, 
A man who clings to God through all the fears,
A man who loves his family throughout the years…

From the heart, from the soul,
Always willing to give, to provide,
To listen to their needs, their wants too
All the things that soothe hearts,
All the things that stir souls to move,
All the love – love that can prove….

From the one who believes, and knows
It is God Himself who offers this hope,
It is God Himself who answers the hearts,
It is God who hears the prayers, the praise
And it is God who makes a way through the pain,
It is God who fulfills the yearning for peace,
It is God who lifts the burdens, the worst
So that we can know what it is to truly hope…

From this man, who is a family’s head,
There comes a love that is beyond description,
A love so wise, that forgets every pride,
A love so tender, it will always consider,
A love so alive – it will ever survive, 
It will always give the soul a reason to know
What it means to love with love only God could show,
Love that abides because God is alive
Love that decides – love that confides
Love that provides, giving this man a purpose in life!
