Pure Cruelty

I read an article today That truly saddened my heart About abuse of an innocent dog Whose severe mistreatment by a human was off the chart This poor broken animal Who did no-one any harm Was beaten regularly by a teenage boy The extent of this abuse caused me such disgust and alarm This beautiful dog lost an eye Had an operation on his brain Vertical stitches from the top of his head to his nose Disabled for life caused by pure cruelty and extreme pain This article made me so emotional Seeing this beautiful creature disfigured and in such a state At the hands of an depraved evil human So consumed with cruelty and hate
