Pulling Me

I am barely hanging on the wind is blowing slowly drowning head above water feet planted on solid ground no help to be found the sound of my tears weeping in despair in the night air its just not fair so much cause for one to bare not aware for what is yet to come and sweep away all hope on holding on to the rope to pull me out from under the bottom smile up side down eyes cloudy red on bend knee i look to thee see me threw the stormy weather i rather swim then drown on the merry go around when will it stop nobody knows down on the way up narrow is the road that leads to redemption without explanation less frustration without question dusting myself off when i fall so that i can walk tall and not hit the walls on my way to the freeway that leads out this blackout bruises still fresh painted dripping wet scares left as reminders of a fight victorious fought brought about straight hope and faith when in doughy seek the straight narrow road reaching for a string to bring me closer to the door out of this night mare not yet awaken walking in circles hitting the door s that are keeping me in the storm that whip me out of carter out of my element defenseless no protection from obstacles that try to keep me at bay from reaching a positive goal and come out umbrella free to see a clear blue sky that wont cry but keep dry and try to keep a bright light in eye sight as a reminder of the fighter in me fighters tend to fall hard on there own get back up standing tall for the writing was always divided on the wall
