Oh, how I love a summer day
when I can go outside and play
with Puff, my dog, and Fluff, my cat-
who wait on the house steps or mat.
The flowers first, I have to tend;
must water them- their thirst to end
so they stay pretty- healthy too.
This is the first thing I must do.
And after that, when I am done
we play together and have fun!
I love how they both wait for me!
They make me happy as can be!
