Psalm- Keep Us

Psalm. Lord, Keep Us! I could sink, and languish sunken, But Christ will not let me lie in broken days. I am pulled up from the longest moments And the trials of pain. Selah. Breathe. I declare. Since youth I have pronounced That there is Nothing That I will allow to separate me from God. But attempts and trials came through five decades. Selah. Breathe. Holy One, I am thankful for the clutching angels You send to flank the hillsides of difficulty and Surround my bedside, trying to battle for my health, Keeping me from ancient days of enslaving places. Selah. Breathe. . Holy! Lord, I rise in your redemptive promises, And feel you in my soul, as in heaven. I assert The power of your Kingship. Holy! Holy! You lift me in my believing from encroaching despairs. Selah. Breathe. You reign in never-ending love — as you created — And instill with all forgiveness, without demands, Given freely. I kneel humbled, thankful, always Awaiting your touches and callings. Filled. Alleluia! Selah. Sing. Beauty, ever-creating enduring beauty We share so with all others, in your image. We all rise. Holy! Holy! We call! Keep us, Please, from hints of hopelessness, to glorify you. Selah. Breathe. Sing. Dance.
