Proud To Be Me
Do you see the spark that is in my eyes?
Then by now you must have realized.
That I'm strong, confident and free of misery,
Yes I'm all woman and I'm proud to be me.
I will rise up and take my place with humility,
I will work hard to fulfill my destiny.
And the challenges that I face today,
Will make me stronger every step of the way.
I will rise and I will fall , but I'll always stand tall,
And I will hold my head high through it all.
I knew that my journey would not have been easy,
But I vowed to endure so I could tell my story.
And though often battered and bruised from the street,
I carried on with all my might because I had to refuse defeat.
But now I've come to fully realize who I am,
A strong, independent and amazing woman.
Who is on a mission to inspire greatness here and now,
So I'll smile to myself, straighten my crown and take a bow.
I've held my own and I've I made a difference for all to see,
Yes! I am who I am! and I'm proud to be me.
