Promises
Emotions that I could not know
Now fill me up until I'm whole
A feeling so intangible
Your beauty pierces through my soul
Your smile grips my beating heart
To your tender touch I fall apart,
To the one whom I love
Your happiness I put above
Above my own and any other
Never subject to another
But should our fate force us to part
I'll hold you deep within my heart
And keep my love for you inside
Until my body and soul divide
