Procrastination
What have you done to me
Instituting affections
That will never sanction
To ever be
Distracted by circumstance
I keep waiting for you
To ask me for this dance
I reflect on an era
Of time that was good
And you know when you related to me
Yeah...like I was the chic
From your hood
The coalition was without question
So equitable and I was willing
To give us a stupendous fight
To be together
I didn’t care what kind of weather
Forecast that we had to face
Because your love could
Surely erase any negativity
Now why am I asking
For you to forgive me?
I will remain unapologetic
Because you just don’t seem to get it
This is what you have done to
You will continue to procrastinate
And will become as barren as a fruitless tree
