Pristine and Pure The winding road led to a chasm deep below a cliff that proudly shows the view... a silken, blue-green lake, lays like a gem of opulence embedded in the rim of tall, lush evergreens that now adorn the natural setting so pristine and pure. Within, the lovely birds exult their home with calls and songs that flow so tunefully, while hawks shriek out in tones of mockery, their impetus to find and capture prey. Upon this cliff I share in nature's joy; vicarious, my thrill of standing here. Sandra M.
