Raindrops freeze in rainbow of opulence, gracefully strung in finely-stranded rows. Dressing branches in frosty ebullience, crystal beauties, bijoux vibrancy glows. I adore your way with words, John. Your appreciation for my word choices gladdens my heart, dear friend. I just love the 'china and fine crystal', the shaded nuances, the mind-tickling thrills that words provide for one's imagination. This poem was inspired by freezing rain on our dwarf weeping pea tree - it looked so delicate and beautiful! Hi Susan, I love the rain, I usually go out for a walk when it rains, well I used to, not so much now. I love trees, I find them mystical and beautiful. The true lady of Pantoum. Your visits delight me :) I originally wrote this one wintry morning while looking at the tree in my front yard; it was the only 'beautiful' thing about the freezing rain we got that day lol!
