Princess Saves the Prince

A knight in shining armour, that's covered in dents Scars and bruises on his skin from a painful past I know this may be a lot to ask But can you be the princess who saves the Prince? I come from a broken home Trying to repair myself, I thought the hope was gone Bipolar, can you deal with the emotions shown? I couldn't right all my mistakes, so I wrote my wrongs I'm loyal and have no issue with being faithful But all I see is betrayal So I have trust issues Which is something I need to discuss with you Tattoos covering my scars from my Self-harming days You'll hear stories about how I was always out charming babes They're true, I had so much pain and heartbreak to stomach So I was sleeping around for an escape and comfort But I've changed my ways, I need something that's real You have to bleed, before you heal I'm trying to open up, even though it's hard for me to show I just need you to understand my scars so I can work on getting them to go I've got a good heart but i'm hard work I write a lot and put my art first Give me your all and I'll repay it with interest Can you understand why the prince needs saving by the princess? A knight in shining armour, that's covered in dents Scars and bruises on his skin from a painful past I know this may be a lot to ask But can you be the princess who saves the Prince?

Dear Alex, you are healing through your prose, it shows. Write on Little Prince! (sorry I couldn't resist, have you read The Little Prince? A favourite of mine, I have him tattooed ;) xomo
