Princess

Walking down the street
no one seems to notice
me
then i wonder
if some one had gone
before me and
announced i was royalty
would they have treated
me any different
ofcourse
but its not a matter of
who they see
its who i see
i see a princess of the
most popular kingdom
what they are unaware
of is that a real princess
never reveals her true
identity

Well, welcome to PoetrySoup and how incredibly sweet of you to wish me well. This is a beautifully written poem with an extremely important message. Had to stop by briefly to say thank you - but when I get well and back to the soup I will comment on more of your wonderful poetry. Thank you for your kindness. Love, Shar
