Prince

If I was the Prince of Peace, there’d be no tears of war – No suffering. No guilt. For evil, there’d be no yearning. If I was the Prince of Pain, such be for sweet love’s learning – No anger. No shame. Though gain through this here blessing. If I was the Prince of Place, I’d spread my wings from age to age – No homeless. No desolation be. Safely would rest humanity. If I was the Prince of Pledge, I’ll labour hard to not forget – No gluttony. No greed. This world would know of giving. If I was the Prince of Pride, please pray this universe me guide – ‘Cause of all God’s Wonders here unfold; my soul be that of Prince.
