Pride of Place

Framed picture of jubilant Mom and Dad
Brightens home with their smiles, constantly glad
Cheering family midst trials so bad
By their faith in God*, smiting being sad
Against pressures that victoriously add
Loving kindness for togetherness-clad
Abode, place of pride which our lass and lad
Claim as legacy of Grand Mom and Dad.
