Pride of Place--Revised

Bob holds his tattered Travis to his chest. He was Bob's pet. Now--stuffed--he's still the best! Bob’s parents, at wit’s end, make this request: “He’s old. Let him retire!” but Bob’s obsessed. He counters, “I start soon at my new school. I’ll take him too. They’ll all think he’s WAY cool!” “They won’t!” said Mom. “They’ll think you are a fool. Since you’re the principal, some might be cruel.” January 25, 2022

This was a laugh but also sad in a way as some adults are actually like this. I saw a documentary where a man used to have teddy bear picnics for his teddy bears there is a name that these people are called but I'll have to look for it hugs and blessings Jennifer

My late wife has been dead for years, but her "Best Dolly" remains where she left it . . . .
