Presence of the Abnormal

Presence of the Abnormal
Is a sign to save your life
Presence of the normal
Keeps you out of trouble and strife

It’s a sign to your inner soul
That protects you from being hurt
You just have but one goal
Keep your head out of the dirt

This happens in every life
It’s something that can be beat
Believe in your senses and strive
Then you can walk along the street

Hold your head up high
If it doesn’t feel right
It’s not time to fly
It is the time to stand and fight

For you can get out of this place
Your senses have got you this far
Laugh in adversities silly face
You really don’t need to go in that bar

As a child you had no fear
This is a way of life
As an adult these instincts disappear
You have troubles and plenty of strife

So, trust your mind and stay strong
The bad thoughts will diminish
On this world is where you belong
Your life is not ready to finish
